So last week I went to Recfest UK. There are a billion posts about it on LinkedIn and I do not want to bore you with pictures of me on front of the big RecFest sign and all that bollocks.
BUT I saw ALOT of very clever people say ALOT of clever things about recruitment.
So, I wanted to condense what I heard down into one important theme that I think would be helpful to my fellow Data Driven Recruiters.
On a side note, Is it too early for us to have a collective demonym? like DDRs, or Datalings.....data driven recruitment...ies? I don't know....suggestions on a post card.
I went to talks about EVP, talks about DE&I, talks about Talent Intelligence, talks about specific ATS, I had chats with service providers, I spoke to Hung Lee who was sat in the Scotty.ai booth doing ten minute interviews with a bunch of TA folk one after the other like some bizarre wee TA Santa's grotto.
What was the one key theme EVERYONE had in common? was it AI and automation? no, although there are a lot of ChatGPT wrappers being sold as the next big thing in TA.
The key theme across all of these projects and disciplines, is this :
"We need to get better at marshalling and visualising data, to drive change narratives for leaders"
I'm sure you know...but I agree with this statement. so instead of high level waffle, here is a video of me walking you through my free recruitment dashboard that I use to do just that.
If you like it, would like it, or find it interesting, grab me on LinkedIn and I'll show you how it's done.

I'll see you next week!
